Software developer with over 9 years of experience in frontend and backend development. Meticulous and adaptable, with a solid track record of delivering well-structured, production-ready applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and GraphQL, among other technologies. Comfortable owning projects end to end, from architecture and implementation through automated deployment.
Served as lead developer on a project for a leading logistics company in Mexico, building applications for fleet management, real-time monitoring, and operations tracking. Built the application primarily with Next.js, using React, Tailwind CSS, Zustand, the Google Maps API, Axios, Jest, and Testing Library. Set up automated deployments with GitHub Actions to an AWS cloud server, configuring Nginx as a reverse proxy. Configured automation workflows with n8n to generate and email reports. Worked alongside Claude as an AI agent, implementing Skills and MCPs (Model Context Protocol) as support tools for the development workflow.
Delivered software solutions for multiple clients, using AI-assisted tools such as Cursor alongside React, Tailwind CSS, and Redux Toolkit for static web pages, and Node.js with Apollo Server for GraphQL-based backend APIs. Managed and automated deployments with Jenkins, hosting applications on VPS servers, and explored the use of AI agents.
Maintained and extended existing products built with Next.js and React, creating new features and complex components to meet client requirements. Deployed all services to Azure through CI/CD pipelines and used SonarQube to monitor and improve code quality.
Developed React applications simulating a vehicle’s central console, allowing customers to interact with models and test new features. Built a web application enabling users to search for and request new test models, as well as view demos, previews, and download the latest available versions. Developed API services with NestJS to retrieve data from MongoDB, Azure SQL, and internal microservices, using GraphQL and Apollo for data handling.
byYourself is an application that lets freelancers and consultants generate quotes for professional services with the help of generative AI, for free. It’s a monorepo with a Next.js frontend (React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS) and a Go backend, using PostgreSQL for user data and MinIO for encrypted document storage. It includes a third-party digital signature flow, document editing and export to .docx, multi-language support, and deployment via Docker and GitHub Actions.
The goal of the Fleet Tracking project is to build a fleet tracking application that lets users monitor and manage vehicles in real time. The application provides an intuitive interface to visualize vehicle locations and generate detailed reports on fleet performance and status.
The goal of this project is to build a Pokedex application that lets users view a list of Pokémon, see their details, and perform actions such as marking Pokémon as favorites and filtering the list. The application loads data from an external API (PokeAPI) that provides information about the Pokémon.
The goal of this project is to build an online store where users can browse different product categories, add products to a shopping cart, view product details, and place orders. The application also includes features such as a navigation menu, a side shopping cart, a side menu, and the ability to search for products.
The goal of this project is to build a personal portfolio showcasing my skills and the projects I’ve developed. The application is built with React and TypeScript, and uses Redux Toolkit for state management. Webpack is configured for bundling, and TailwindCSS together with PostCSS handle the design and styling. This portfolio lets visitors explore my projects, learn more about my experience and skills, and access the project repository links.
